An instant hit since its premiere in Paris, it has won several awards, including the Tony Award for Best Play in its Broadway production. It has been translated into English and Spanish, and premiered in places such as London, Madrid, Chile, and New York. In 2011, it enjoyed a film adaptation (Carnage) directed by Roman Polanski and starring Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and John C.
