The theater in Barcelona has broken the absolute record in its history in terms of theater spectators and revenue. In 2023, 2,845,015 spectators attended the theaters in Barcelona and \u20ac86,079,885 were collected.<\/p>\n
The president of ADETCA, accompanied by its board and the highest cultural authorities, the Minister of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Nat\u00e0lia Garriga, the Secretary of State for Culture, Jordi Mart\u00ed and the Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Barcelona, Xavier Marc\u00e8, presented these extraordinary data, achieved thanks to the enormous work of all the agents and the support of the administrations.<\/p>\n
Focus productions have undoubtedly been one of the driving forces behind this record. Shows such as Am\u00e8rica, a production of La Villarroel, directed by Julio Manrique, with two seasons of absolute success; Escape Room 2, a production by Focus, Nakatomi and Arriska, currently playing at the Teatre Condal and which achieved a great ticket pre-sale record; J\u00fanior, a Focus production with Joan Pera in the lead, or La isla del aire, a Teatre Romea production starring Nuria Espert, have been among the most viewed works of the year.<\/p>\n
