{"id":21524,"date":"2025-02-12T15:18:30","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T15:18:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.focus.cat\/?p=21524"},"modified":"2025-02-12T15:18:30","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T15:18:30","slug":"la-cubana-arrives-at-the-teatre-romea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.focus.cat\/en\/la-cubana-arrives-at-the-teatre-romea\/","title":{"rendered":"La Cubana arrives at the Teatre Romea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting on September 17, La Cubana will premiere its new show <em>L\u2019amor venia amb taxi<\/em> at the Teatre Romea; a production that promises, as always, to surprise the audience and become a true phenomenon that will shake the city and leave a lasting impression.<\/p>\n<p><em>L\u2019amor venia amb taxi<\/em> is a sincere tribute to amateur theater in Catalonia, as it is only right to recognize its importance within the country&#8217;s cultural fabric, and is, as the company explains, a musical &#8220;made in Cubana,&#8221; made in the Catalan style.<\/p>\n<p>The legendary group, led by Jordi Mil\u00e1n, which this year celebrates its 45th anniversary, is responsible for successes that are now part of the history of theater in our country, such as <em>Cegada de amor, Campanades de boda<\/em>, and<em> Gente bien<\/em>, which have captured the hearts of generations of spectators with their unmistakable style.
