The Gold Medal for Cultural Merit, an award that recognizes participation in the city\u2019s cultural life and contributions to the international projection of the cultural world, will be granted to Daniel Mart\u00ednez de Obreg\u00f3n<\/strong> for a lifetime devoted to art, culture, and the city.<\/p>\n

The award, one of the most prestigious of its kind, will thus acknowledge his career as a theatre entrepreneur and as one of the most influential figures in the performing arts in Catalonia and in Spain.<\/p>\n
