Following the success of Germans de sang<\/em>, Teatre Condal<\/strong> presents the new Focus<\/strong> production, the comedy Una idea genial<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The play, written by S\u00e9bastien Castro<\/strong>, has been adapted by Susanna Garachana<\/strong> and directed by Xavier Ricart<\/strong>. It stars Llu\u00eds Villanueva, Xavi Mira, Susanna Garachana and Anna Azcona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Una idea genial is a comedy of mistaken identities that has won two Moli\u00e8re Awards<\/strong>, the highest honours in French theatre. The show tells the story of Arnau, a man who suspects that his wife, Mariona, is having an affair with Oriol, the real estate agent helping them find a flat. When Arnau meets Tom\u00e1s, an amateur actor who looks exactly like the agent, he hires him to impersonate him at a dinner in order to find out whether his suspicions are true. It seems like a brilliant idea\u2026 until the agent, his double and the double\u2019s twin brother\u2014a plumber who comes to fix a leak\u2014cross paths. Three identical men and a nosy neighbour will make the plan seem far less brilliant than it first appeared.<\/p>\n
