After the success of La pres\u00e8ncia, Sixto Paz Produccions returns to the stage with a new comedy with thriller elements. Written by Yago Alonso (also co-author of La pres\u00e8ncia) and S\u00edlvia Navarro Perramon, La promesa is a satire about a materialistic and self-satisfied society where opulence is considered personal and professional success. It follows a group of friends celebrating a 1990s-themed party; everyone is having fun , until the host announces that she has poisoned the wine. Is it a macabre joke? Is it true? If so, why has she done it?
\nMarc Rodr\u00edguez, Merc\u00e8 Mart\u00ednez, Carla Rovira, Eduard Lloveras and Eduard Buch star in the production, which has just premiered at Teatre Borr\u00e0s and will run well into the summer. The stage direction is by Pau Roca.<\/p>\n
