The Teatre Romea\u2019s<\/strong> production for this year\u2019s Grec Festival has been El retrat de Dorian Gray<\/strong><\/em>. Since premiering on 6 July, the production has won over both critics and audiences, establishing itself as one of the most acclaimed and celebrated shows of this year\u2019s festival.<\/p>\n

Following its outstanding reception, Teatre Romea is already preparing its return: El retrat de Dorian Gray will return to the theatre\u2019s programme this Christmas, giving audiences another opportunity to discover or revisit this unique adaptation of Oscar Wilde\u2019s universal classic.<\/p>\n

\u00c0ngels Gonyalons stars in this adaptation, written and directed by Marc Rosich, an original production that combines theatre and live music, featuring compositions by Jordi Cornudella, to immerse audiences in the fascinating, dark and controversial story of the cursed libertine who defies the passage of time.<\/p>\n

The cast is completed by Jordi Vidal, Pau Oliver, Pol Blancafort and the Leos Quintet, who help bring to life a distinctive production that has captivated audiences and earned widespread praise for its staging, the performance of its leading actress, \u00c0ngels Gonyalons, and its contemporary take on one of the great works of world literature.<\/p>\n
