From 18 to 27 September 2026, Barcelona\u2019s Passeig de Llu\u00eds Companys will once again become the epicentre of Catalan literature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Setmana del Llibre en Catal\u00e0<\/strong> is one of the country\u2019s most significant cultural events. Since its first edition in 1983, it has maintained an uninterrupted annual appointment with readers, establishing itself over more than four decades as an essential platform for promoting Catalan-language publishing and energising the publishing sector.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its reach, business volume, number of participants, audience attendance and media impact, La Setmana has become a leading cultural reference. Its mission is to continue encouraging reading in Catalan, helping to cultivate new generations of readers, and strengthening the role of culture as a tool for knowledge, social cohesion and freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Much more than a book fair, La Setmana is the foremost meeting point for the reading community.
