After captivating millions of readers and becoming an international phenomenon, Reina Roja returns to Prime Video with the premiere of its second season, Black Wolf. The platform has released six new episodes that continue the adventures of Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez, the iconic characters created by Juan Gómez-Jurado.

Two years after the success of its first season, the series expands the universe of one of the most popular literary sagas of recent years. Victoria Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian reprise their leading roles, heading a cast that welcomes new faces including Adriana Torrebejano, Silvia Abascal, Vicenta N’Dongo, Àlex Brendemühl, Fernando Guallar, Karmele Larrinaga, Bruno Sevilla, Mauricio Morales, Beka Lemonjava, Féodor Atkine, Javiera Sky, Pedro Mari Sánchez, and Juan G. Verdú.

The anticipation surrounding this new season quickly translated into impressive viewing figures. Barely 48 hours after its release, Red Queen: Black Wolf had already become the most-watched series on Prime Video in Spain, confirming the enormous following enjoyed by the screen adaptation of Gómez-Jurado’s novels.

The author himself took to social media to thank audiences for their enthusiastic response, celebrating the series’ warm reception with a message full of excitement: “Thank you, thank you, and a thousand thanks. Please, pace yourselves.”

His words reflect the strong bond that the saga continues to share with its fans and demonstrate that the Reina Roja phenomenon is more alive than ever.
