Josep Maria Pou<\/strong> encarna a Roald Dahl, el exc\u00e9ntrico escritor de fama internacional, autor de \u00e9xitos como Matilda, Charlie y la f\u00e1brica de chocolate y Las Brujas, que vio c\u00f3mo unas pol\u00e9micas declaraciones suyas inflamaron a la prensa, repercutiendo en su reputaci\u00f3n, con consecuencias imprevisibles.

Dirigida por Josep Maria Mestres<\/strong> e inspirada en hechos reales, la obra de Mark Rosenblatt<\/strong> ofrece un retrato poli\u00e9drico de un literato terriblemente carism\u00e1tico y explora, con una agudeza no exenta de humor, la diferencia entre la opini\u00f3n razonada y los peligros de una ret\u00f3rica dictada por los prejuicios.

Verano de 1983. El famoso escritor ingl\u00e9s Roald Dahl revisa las pruebas de su \u00faltimo libro, que est\u00e1 a punto de ir a la imprenta, pero el esc\u00e1ndalo provocado por un art\u00edculo antisemita que ha publicado recientemente no parece apaciguarse. A lo largo de una sola tarde en su casa, enfrentado a una interlocutora inesperadamente beligerante, Dahl se ve obligado a elegir entre disculparse p\u00fablicamente o poner en riesgo la fama y la reputaci\u00f3n.
