The main 3Cat channel closed on 25 December with the broadcast of the play El favor, which achieved a 17.2% share in the prime-time slot and an average audience of around 272,000 viewers.
Following Telenotícies Vespre, the TV movie adaptation of the production was aired on TV3, a true success that ran for two seasons. It is a co-production by Focus and Mola Produccions, written by Susanna Garachana, directed by Xavier Ricart, and starring Eduard Buch, Jordi Rico, Xavier Ricart and David Marcè.
This TV movie follows in the successful footsteps of other stage productions adapted for television, such as El pare de la núvia, El crèdit, Desclassificats and Masterxof, among others.
