On February 20, Gigante, starring Josep Maria Pou, opened at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Madrid. The play, which premiered in Barcelona to great critical and audience acclaim for its dramatic intensity and Pou’s powerful performance, is achieving similar success in Madrid, where it is selling out every performance and establishing itself as one of the most outstanding theatre productions of the season in the Spanish capital.
Written by Mark Rosenblatt and directed by Josep Maria Mestres, the production features the same cast as in its original staging and will run until April 26.
