Casa CUPRA Raval becomes a creative showcase for Cirque du Soleil with a free exhibition that reveals the secrets behind the costume design of its upcoming production, KURIOS. The exhibition offers an immersive glimpse into the artisanal process behind one of the Canadian company’s most celebrated visual universes.
Visitors can explore character maquettes, original costume pieces, and details of the meticulous craftsmanship involved in creating more than 100 costumes and nearly 8,000 props. Each figure highlights the precision, material experimentation, and the 19th‑century‑inspired aesthetic that define the imaginative world of KURIOS.
The exhibition serves as a preview of the show’s arrival in Barcelona this September, at L’Hospitalet’s Cultural District, and illustrates how set and costume design play a central role in the storytelling of Cirque du Soleil. A unique opportunity to discover the most creative—and often unseen—side of contemporary circus.
