Grup Focus and the Fundació Joan Miró have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of bringing their audiences closer together and creating new cultural pathways between theatre and the museum. The initiative comes in a particularly symbolic year—Focus is celebrating its 40th anniversary and the Fundació Joan Miró its 50th—and establishes a system of mutual benefits between the two institutions.
As part of the agreement, audiences attending performances at Grup Focus theatres will enjoy benefits when visiting the Fundació, while museum visitors will receive special discounts to attend productions at the group’s theatres. The partnership also includes joint communication initiatives, exclusive activities, and the creation of content highlighting the dialogue between visual and performing arts.
Through this alliance, both organisations reaffirm their commitment to a more accessible, cross-disciplinary and dynamic culture. The project aims to place audiences at its centre and foster new ways of connecting different artistic disciplines.
This collaboration, under the title FROM STAGE TO MUSEUM, CULTURE MULTIPLIES, aspires to become a benchmark within Barcelona’s cultural sector.
