On Monday, September 21, the Fundació Romea launches its season of events and artistic initiatives with Diàleg per a un ventríloc solitari, a production created by Jaime Figueroa, magician, comedian and innovator of ventriloquism, and María Folguera, writer and playwright. After spending a long time looking for a way to collaborate, they now present this work on dialogue, the body, the object, and the inner voices that struggle to emerge, sometimes with a will of their own.
A reflection on the solitude of the performer, conceived both as an acting body and as a dramatic space in which the theatrical act of interaction between characters takes place, characters that come together and, very often, oppose and confront one another.
An evening that lies somewhere between a variety act and a Renaissance dialogue, a lecture and a performance, never losing its sense of humour or the affection shared between fellow creators.
