Teatro Maravillas is now presenting Las irresponsables, a play by Javier Daulte, directed by Marta Poveda and starring Marta Poveda, Eva Ugarte, and Angy Fernández.
A production co-produced by Focus, Verteatro, Smedia, Bitó Produccions, and Secuencia 3, the show was previously staged to great acclaim at La Villarroel (during the 2021-22 season) and in Buenos Aires, and now arrives in Madrid with a brand-new production.
Three women are swept away by overwhelming emotions that, without even intending to, turn them into genuine irresponsible troublemakers. What would happen if, one day, we suddenly started doing everything that crosses our minds? Where are the boundaries between right and wrong?

SYNOPSIS
Lila is forty years old and her partner has left her. Her friend Núria and her sister Fabi persuade her to spend a weekend away from the city in a house that some acquaintances have lent them. There is only one condition: they must make sure the neighbours’ dog does not poop in the garden.
With this amusing and seemingly absurd premise, Les irresponsables unfolds, a comedy about friendship, the impulses we never confess, and the part of ourselves that remains hidden beneath rules, good manners, and common sense.
What begins as a getaway to help a friend soon turns into a chain of increasingly unpredictable decisions, where the line between right and wrong begins to blur, and every attempt to fix the situation only makes it worse.
