Kurios – Cabinet of Curiosities, Cirque du Soleil’s 35th production, celebrated its official Barcelona premiere on Tuesday, September 8, at the Cultural District of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Combining fantasy, imagination and extraordinary acrobatics, the show makes Barcelona the fifth stop on its 2026 Spanish tour and the 50th city worldwide to host this acclaimed production.
The event brought together numerous personalities from the worlds of culture and media, including Enric Auquer, Martina Klein, Verónica Blume, Jordi Hurtado, Samantha Villar and Txabi Franquesa. In addition, the company unveiled The Pavilion, a new hospitality space where audiences can enhance their experience with a curated selection of local food and beverage offerings before the performance.
Originally premiered in Montreal in 2014, Kurios has captivated more than seven million spectators around the globe. The production will run in Barcelona until October 18, 2026, in what the company has announced as a strictly limited engagement.
