THE THIRD SEASON OF THE PRIME VIDEO ORIGINAL SERIES REINA ROJA WILL PREMIERE IN SUMMER 2027
Victoria Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian return as Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez in this final season based on Rey blanco, by Juan Gómez-Jurado.
The second season, based on Loba Negra and premiered on October 2, has ranked among Prime Video’s global weekly Top 10 Original Series and among Prime Video’s Top non-English-language series since its launch.
Prime Video has confirmed today that the third season of the Prime Video Original series Reina Roja will premiere worldwide in summer 2027. Based on Rey blanco, the third book in Juan Gómez-Jurado’s bestselling trilogy, this final installment of the saga, directed by Koldo Serra (Sin huellas, La casa de papel), will once again star Victoria Luengo (El ser querido, Antidisturbios) and Hovik Keuchkerian (La casa de papel, Un amor) as Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez, respectively.
The announcement of this new season follows the success of its second season, based on Loba Negra, which reached second place in Prime Video’s Top 10 non-English-language Original Series and eighth place in the platform’s global Top 10 during the past week.
This third and final season, filmed in Madrid, raises the stakes with more action, more tension, and more risk than ever before.
Back in the Spanish capital, Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez face their most dangerous challenge yet: a deadly game of wits orchestrated by Mr. White, forcing them to solve a series of impossible crimes in a frantic race against time. With the lives of the people they love most at stake, the two protagonists will have to push beyond every personal and professional limit in a high-stakes game of chess.
Alongside Victoria Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian, several cast members from previous seasons reprise their roles: Àlex Brendemühl (Corredora, Creatura) as Mentor; Eduardo Noriega (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Parecido a un asesinato) as Jaume Soler; Vicenta N’Dongo (Días mejores, En la ciudad) as Dr. Aguado; Karmele Larrinaga (Go!azen, Ane) as Maritxu; and Fernando Guallar (Innato, Tras la pared) as security guard Tomás.
The third installment is produced by Focus Studios (Grup Focus) and Dopamine, with Josep Amorós serving as executive producer alongside Koldo Serra, Pere Roca, and Helena Medina, who also co-writes the series with Salvador Perpiñá.
