El retrat de Dorian Gray, which premiered on 6 July at Teatre Romea, winning over both critics and audiences and establishing itself as one of the must-see productions of this year’s Festival Grec, is entering its final performances.
Starring Àngels Gonyalons and adapted and directed by Marc Rosich, the production will close this coming Sunday, 2 August.
An original staging that combines theatre and live music, featuring compositions by Jordi Cornudella, immerses audiences in the fascinating, dark and controversial story of the cursed libertine who defies the passage of time.
The cast is completed by Jordi Vidal, Pau Oliver, Pol Blancafort and the Leos Quintet, who help bring to life a unique production that has captivated audiences and earned outstanding reviews for its staging, the performance of its lead actress, Àngels Gonyalons, and its contemporary approach to one of the great works of world literature.
Following its run at Teatre Romea, the production will embark on an extensive tour across Catalonia this autumn.
