And you, wouldn’t you like to start again?
One scorching summer night in a village in Catalonia, an immigrant prostitute on the road is involved in a fatal accident after a party at the house of a politician who is a member of a powerful family of the Barcelona bourgeoisie.
That same night, Ruby, an eighteen-year-old trap singer, will be in trouble with the law.
Her father, Pere, a man in his fifties who wanted to be a rock star when he was young and who now earns a living doing repairs on farms and houses, an unexpected turn in his life leads him to see that he is a nobody and that he has never fulfilled any of his dreams. One of those dreams was to complete Route 66 all the way to the Grand Canyon of the Colorado with his wife and daughter. A dream that he believes he will never be able to fulfill. But an unexpected visit makes him see that everything is never lost, and that even the smallest can knock down what seems immense, and open the way for those who will come after. And Pere begins a journey without return. With the Grand Canyon on the horizon.
