An adaptation of the multi-award-winning Juan Mayorga, based on the novelThe dog colloquiumby Cervantes

InDog word, Juan Mayorga takes up Cipión and Berganza, the dogs that acquire the gift of speech, to turn them into lucid observers of human behavior. Through their dialogue, these characters reveal with irony and wit the contradictions, weaknesses and small vices that are part of our daily lives.

The voice and the word become the central axis of the work, an instrument that allows us to question who has the right to tell the truth and how perceptions of justice, lies, and morality are constructed. Between humor, criticism and reflection, Mayorga invites us to look at the world from an alien but deeply human perspective, where dogs become mirrors of our own behavior and show us what we often don't want to see.

Dog wordThus, it is a theatrical proposal that mixes tradition and modernity, with incisive language and a critical look that awakens reflection on society and on ourselves.
