Last Monday, June 15, the award ceremony for the first edition of the Ciutat Vella Awards took place at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, an initiative promoted by the Ciutat Vella District of the city of Barcelona.
In this context, the Fundació Romea per a les Arts Escèniques was recognized for its first 25 years of activity, as one of the organizations with a well-established history that continues to be a benchmark in the neighborhood thanks to its ability to renew itself and adapt to new realities.
The Ciutat Vella Awards aim to publicly recognize the individuals and organizations that, day after day, work to improve everyday life, opportunities, and neighborhood cohesion, as well as those initiatives that, over the past year, have contributed to the district’s progress and improvement.
