On 9 July, Primera llei de Newton officially premiered at La Villarroel. Eu Manzanares’s new play explores the challenges faced in a high-complexity secondary school and the contradictions between the educational system and the family and social realities of its students. A compelling portrait of academic inequality, the production is directed by Nelson Valente and stars Lua Amat, Dafnis Balduz, Sara Diego, Rosa Gamiz, Anna Sahun and Max Vilarrasa.
The premiere was a resounding success, and the production has already established itself as one of the standout shows of this year’s Grec Festival. Most performances have sold out, while critics have praised both the play and its staging, calling it a must-see production and highlighting the outstanding work of the cast.
