Focus’ 2026-27 theatre season has got off to a flying start, with four major hits playing across the group’s four theatres.
At La Villarroel, the acclaimed GREC Festival de Barcelona success Primera llei de Newton, by Eu Manzanares and directed by Nelson Valente, returns to the stage. The production explores the challenges faced by the educational community in a high-complexity secondary school and stars Lua Amat, Dafnis Balduz, Sara Diego, Rosa Gamiz, Anna Sahun, and Max Vilarrasa.
At the Romea, José Sacristán captivates audiences with El hijo de la còmica, a tribute to the theatrical profession and to the figure of Fernando Fernán-Gómez.
At the Condal, Cesc Gay returns to the stage with a new production of his hit comedy 53 domingos, starring Julián López, Pepa Charro, Xavi Mira, and Candela Serrat.
Finally, at the Teatre Goya, Lolita returns for a fourth consecutive run with Poncia, Luis Luque’s acclaimed production centred on Lorca’s iconic character, which continues to sell out performance after performance.
Four productions that have won over both audiences and critics alike, reaffirming Focus’ commitment to outstanding artistic productions led by some of the finest performers on today’s stage.
