Synopsis
Is it legitimate to cheat when the system is unfair?
A high-complexity secondary school, recently awarded for its educational project, is shaken by a conflict that calls its discourse on equal opportunities into question.
Just a few days before the final teachers’ meeting, it is discovered that Izan, a student about to graduate, has been systematically copying exams in one subject. Tension escalates when Izan’s mother turns up at the school to request a certificate guaranteeing that her son will obtain his secondary education diploma, while at the same time the school receives a visit from a young journalist interested in the centre’s success story.
The teachers’ sense of urgency, the pressure from the boy’s mother, and the presence of the journalist push everyone to the brink. Is it legitimate to cheat when the system is unfair? Or is this precisely how injustice is perpetuated?
