Focus reaffirms its commitment to tackling unwanted loneliness by taking part, for the second consecutive year, in the Week Against Loneliness, an initiative promoted by Sant Joan de Déu Social Work to raise awareness of an issue that affects a growing number of people across all ages and social backgrounds.
As part of this collaboration, participants will have the opportunity to attend a performance of Todos los ángeles alzaron el vuelo at Teatre Romea, the latest production by the legendary theatre company La Zaranda, one of the most distinctive and acclaimed ensembles on the contemporary stage.
This initiative reflects Focus’s commitment to using the performing arts as a tool for social cohesion and community engagement. Through culture, the company actively supports projects that help combat social isolation and create meaningful opportunities for connection and shared experiences.
The collaboration is also closely linked to Gransteatrerus, a programme through which Focus contributes to the Barcelona City Council’s strategy to combat unwanted loneliness, helping older adults access cultural experiences and encouraging their participation in the city’s cultural life.
With this renewed partnership with Sant Joan de Déu, Focus further strengthens its commitment to an accessible, inclusive and transformative culture, capable of fostering shared experiences and contributing to people’s emotional and social well-being.
