And you, wouldn’t you like to start again?
One scorching summer night in a village in Catalonia, an immigrant prostitute on the road is involved in a fatal accident after a party at a politician’s house.
That same night, Ruby, an eighteen-year-old trap singer, will be in trouble with the law for the lyrics of one of her songs.
Her father, Pere, a man in his fifties who as a young man wanted to be a rock star, is diagnosed with a serious disease incurable, and that makes him see that he has wasted his life, that he who wanted to be everything is a nobody, that he has always been too afraid and that he has never dared to realize his dream: to make the route 66 to reach the Grand Canyon of Colorado. And in the time, he has left to live he discovers that even the smallest can bring down what seems immense, and that he can still try to do well everything he has not done so far. And pave the way for those who come after him. And fulfill the dream. And begin the journey to the Grand Canyon, the end of its road.
