On Thursday, October 23, the matching session of #gransteatrerus took place at the Escola Massana, where the 26 pairs that make up the 2025–26 edition of the initiative were formed. In this way, 26 young people were paired with 26 elderly individuals at risk of social isolation who, throughout the year, will be able to attend the shows of the four theatres of the Grup Focus together and free of charge.
The event began with a recap of the best moments from the previous season and an explanation by the organizers of what this social initiative represents, which has aroused so much interest. After the pairs were created, the season’s programme was presented, unveiling the wide cultural offer that the participants will now have access to.
#gransteatrerus thus consolidates itself as a thriving initiative that continues to view culture and the performing arts as tools for social cohesion and to fight unwanted loneliness through theatre.
