This Saturday, March 16, the first edition of Cap butaca buida is celebrated, an initiative promoted by Adetca, Time Out, the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA) with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona and the Ajuntament de Barcelona, which was born with as ambitious an objective as possible: to turn Catalonia into the world capital of the performing arts.
The theaters of the Grup Focus have been overwhelmed by the initiative and the main shows of the four theaters have already sold out.
So, this Saturday the seats of the Teatre Romea, where spectators can enjoy Voltaire/Rousseau. La disputa; from La Villarroel, with Elling; of the Teatre Goya, with La trena and of the Teatre Condal with Escape Room 2, will be overflowing with an audience ready to make history in this first great Theater Day in Catalonia, a Sant Jordi of the performing arts that has the purpose of become an annual celebration.
