How would you define yourself as a theatre-goer? What do you like, what don’t you like? What kinds of shows do you like? What “hobbies” do you have? What habits? Who do you usually go there with?
For me, culture and theater in particular is a way to enjoy, to relax, to stop from the day to day. I like distractions. I’m not too deep, not too classic. Mania: if it’s a room like Villarroel, Beckett, … always front row. I usually go there alone (although I must be getting older and lately I end up going there with someone)… When it comes to buying tickets I’m quite impulsive, I see, it catches my eye, I buy. As a child I attended a Flotats conference at school and I think I clicked there… even though at home we’ve always been to the theater, museums…

What other cultural activities, beyond the theatre, do you usually practice?
Exhibitions, conferences…

What is the best memory you have of a La Villarroel show?
A comprehensive therapy. I generally have a poor memory, but I remember this one in particular. The typical format with two tiers of La Villarroel, the “dance” of the characters, the psychology…

What about the other Focus theaters (Teatre Romea, Teatre Goya, Teatre Condal)?
La Trena, without a doubt!

What are your expectations for this season of La Villarroel? What would you highlight from the scheduled shows? What surprised you the most? What do you most want to see?
I want to go back to Off Villarroel, I had a couple of experiences that didn’t convince me, and I want to give it a second (or third) chance.

With which 3 values do you associate the experience of going to La Villarroel?
Proximity of the actors.
Simplicity (no unnecessary artifices).
Like home.

What is your main motivation to be a member of the Public Council of La Villarroel?
To help with my point of view (humbly) and live a new experience linked to the culture.

What do you think the Public Council can be used for?
Improve the experience of the expectant.

What do you think you can contribute as a member of the Public Council?
Honestly, the point of view of a normal expectant with relatively normal “crazes”…
