Lila is forty years old and has just been left by her partner. Her friend Núria and her sister Fabi persuade her to spend a weekend away from the city in a house that some acquaintances have lent them. There is only one condition: make sure the neighbours' dog doesn't poop in the garden.
With this amusing and seemingly absurd premise, The Irresponsible Ones begins, a comedy about friendship, the impulses we never confess, and that part of ourselves that remains hidden beneath rules, good manners, and common sense.
What starts as a getaway to help a friend soon turns into a chain of increasingly unpredictable decisions, where the boundaries between right and wrong begin to blur, and every attempt to fix the situation only makes it worse.
