In 2025, the technical services division of Focus once again takes on the comprehensive technical production of the Mérida International Classical Theatre Festival, one of the most important performing arts events on the Spanish and European scene.
With a history of over 70 editions, the festival is held in the incomparable setting of the Roman Theatre of Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and gathers thousands of spectators every summer around the great tragedies and comedies of Greco-Roman drama. In this unique context, Focus’s technical services division contributes its expertise, precision, and technical capability, built over decades of work on high-level productions and large-scale festivals both nationally and internationally.
The assignment includes the coordination of technical infrastructures, stage operations, management of human teams, and the adaptation of performances to the archaeological site with the utmost care and respect for heritage. It is a major logistical and artistic challenge that Focus approaches with professionalism and passion.
