Grans Teatrerus, the Grup Focus social project, has already been launched with the training of 25 couples (comprising the elderly and young people) who will go together to the theater throughout the season.
This is a pilot project that will allow participants, elderly people from the Raval, and young people from all over Barcelona, to enjoy together the Teatre Romea and Teatre Goya programming.
This project was born with the aim of contributing to combating unwanted loneliness among the elderly and promoting active ageing through theatre and culture. We want to recover as spectators our agransteatrerus, which for various reasons have ceased to be theater audiences, through intergenerational links with young people, with whom to share their passion for the performing arts.
