‘Kurios’ by Cirque du Soleil will also stop in Málaga and Alicante

02/10/2025

Cirque du Soleil has announced two new locations for the Spanish tour of Kurios, adding to the already confirmed cities of Seville, Bilbao, and Gijón — the latter being the chosen host for the show’s European premiere.

In Málaga, Kurios will take place at the Cortijo de Torres Fairgrounds from June 4 to July 5, 2026, and in Alicante, at the Playa de San Juan from July 16 to August 9, 2026.

Kurios is set in a fantastical era inspired by 19th-century steampunk aesthetics. The show transports audiences into the universe of an eccentric inventor, his laboratory, and his extraordinary machines. In this dreamlike world, reality bends and the impossible becomes possible. Each scene, filled with breathtaking acrobatics and exquisite choreography, explores the boundless power of human imagination.

Since its debut, Kurios has received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics, who hail it as one of the most creative and groundbreaking productions in Cirque du Soleil’s history. A true celebration of curiosity, ingenuity, and the human spirit’s ability to defy all limits.
