Last Monday, February 9, we celebrated World Radio Day at Teatre Tívoli in Barcelona, together with Ràdio Barcelona, marking the launch of the first edition of La Nit de la Ràdio, a festive televised gala that incorporates the Toresky Awards.
Hosted by the station’s own voices, the evening honored key figures from today’s Catalan scene such as Oques Grasses and El Pot Petit, as well as international personalities like Raphinha, who received the Sports Personality of the Year award. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Joan Manuel Serrat.
The gala featured musical performances by Nil Moliner, Jofre Bardagí and Las Migas, along with a theatrical appearance by Àngels Gonyalons and Abel Folk.
Focus was responsible for the artistic design, technical production and overall coordination of a night that highlighted the power of words and live radio.
