23/03/2026

One of the season’s major productions arrives at Teatre Romea: Memorias de Adriano, the stage adaptation of Marguerite Yourcenar’s acclaimed novel, with dramaturgy by Brenda Escobedo based on Julio Cortázar’s translation, directed by Beatriz Jaén and starring Lluís Homar, alongside Clara Mingueza, Álvar Nahuel, Marc Domingo, Xavi Casan and Ricard Boyle.

Following its success at its premiere at the Mérida International Classical Theatre Festival, as well as its run in Madrid and an extensive tour across Spain, Memorias de Adriano now comes to Teatre Romea, where it will open on March 25 and run until May 10.

The production has received up to seven awards at the 55th edition of the San Javier International Theatre Festival, including Best Production, Best Actor for Lluís Homar and Best Director for Beatriz Jaén.
