On Monday, July 17 at 7 p.m., the Teatre Romea hosted the proclamation and presentation ceremony of the 49th Margarida Xirgu Memorial Theater Award, which honors the best actress of the Barcelona theater season.
The Federation of Amateur Theater Groups of Catalonia (FGTAC) and Nube magazine make up the jury for this award, in which the Molins de Rei City Council, the Romea Foundation and the Institut del Teatre also participate. Patrons Joan and Sandra Llavina, from Lexus, will provide the gold ring that the award-winning actress will receive.
