Tickets now on sale for Memorias de Adriano at the Teatro Marquina in Madrid

Marguerite Yourcenar’s work, one of the best-known and most highly regarded historical texts of the 20th century, comes to the stage, directed by Beatriz Jaén and starring Lluís Homar.

Tickets to enjoy Memorias de Adriano at the Teatro Marquina in Madrid, from September 19 to October 12, 2025, are now on sale. This co-production by the Teatro Romea and the Mérida International Classical Theater Festival will arrive in Madrid after premiering from August 6 to 10 as part of the summer theater event.

Memorias de Adriano is a show based on the novel of the same name by Marguerite Yourcenar, with dramaturgy by Brenda Escobedo based on Julio Cortázar’s translation. Accompanying Homar, who gives voice to the loneliness of Emperor Adriano, are Clara Mingueza, Álvar Nahuel, Marc Domingo, Xavi Casan, and Ricard Boyle.
