Tickets are now on sale for Gegant at Teatre Goya, where it will run starting October 2.
The play, written by Mark Rosenblatt and starring Josep Maria Pou, premiered at Teatre Romea on July 5 and quickly became the undisputed hit of Barcelona’s Grec Festival, earning the enthusiastic acclaim of both critics and audiences.
Josep Maria Pou’s performance, along with that of the entire cast, has been unanimously praised by the country’s theatre critics, who have highlighted the actor’s transformation into a character as complex as Dahl, describing his work as one of the finest performances in his long and distinguished career.
The production will therefore be part of the Teatre Goya’s programme and will be staged for five weeks only, with no extension possible.
