Cooltiva’t, the theatre program cycle for schools and high schools, reaches its fifth edition with a completely renewed lineup.
During the first term, students will enjoy productions such as Las 13, a musical theatre piece to recover historical memory directed by Jaume Viñas; Artemis, a musical by the young theatre company Gèminis offering a generational perspective on mental health; and 4 gats, a theatricalized radio show about Catalan literature.
In the second term, the program will feature Spasticity, a journey full of humor and resilience about diversity; Germans de sang, the new adaptation of the iconic musical that tells a story of brotherhood, destiny, and inequality; and Un tal Shakespeare, a comedy that brings Shakespeare closer to today’s world by mixing original fragments with contemporary situations.
In the third term, the audience will enjoy Un tal Quixot, a humorous reinterpretation of the universal literary classic; Les dones sàvies, a playful performance that breaks conventions and mocks today’s pedants; and CR#SH, Tothom pot caure!, a production addressing teenage mental health.
Additionally, throughout the entire school year, Cooltiva’t will also include Antarctica Experience, an immersive and educational exhibition about Antarctica, climate change, and biodiversity, created by Oscar-winning director and biologist Luc Jacquet.
