How would you define yourself as a theatre-goer? What do you like, what don’t you like? What kinds of shows do you like? What “hobbies” do you have? What habits? Who do you usually go there with?
I define myself as a weekly repeat viewer, 2 works on average! I like very elaborate dialogue, original works, when everything happens in the same environment, it somehow ensures that the plot will grab you and you will not be distracted by moving sets. I’m not very musical, for me they cut the moment because the songs are long; for the rest I like to discover new techniques. I have a habit of sitting in the aisle row and at most the third or fourth row. I go alone or accompanied by my cousin, almost never in a group.

What other cultural activities, beyond the theatre, do you usually practice?
Talks about aging and dementia, three years ago we created an animal protection association and we hold fairs to collect money to send it to the protectors. Cooking workshops

What is the best memory you have of a show at the Teatre Condal?
Blood Brothers, I was fascinated, the story and the production, the brutal Gonyalons as always. After that day I started doing theater 🙂

What about the other Focus theaters (Teatre Romea, Teatre Goya, La Villarroel)?
Of these, I don’t have any particular memories that are so transcendent, I’ve seen many works that I liked and the one I’ve repeated the most is La Villaroel because of the type of room and the theme.

What expectations do you have for this season of the Teatre Condal? What would you highlight from the scheduled shows? What surprised you the most? What do you most want to see?
Catch me, I’m more into small, more intimate theaters. I would highlight the bet on small formats and for different, very different audiences. A shy light is what I want most.

With which 3 values do you associate the experience of going to the Teatre Condal?
Professionalism.
originality
creativity

What is your main motivation for being a member of the Teatre Condal Audience Council?
Learn, learn more and more every day you think you are an expert and you always find that you can contribute a lot and discover more. Talk about theater with professionals (directors, creatives, spectators, actors,……) and with people who, like you, love this profession the most. See what you never see above the stage and what makes successful results possible.

What do you think the Public Council can be used for?
Mainly to have information from people who do not work in the sector, to collect opinions on areas of improvement. Those of us who don’t know much about internal management sometimes see beyond that because there are no conditioning or acquired habits.

What do you think you can contribute as a member of the Public Council?
I can contribute my “audience training” because I don’t limit my trips to the theater, since I go there weekly and during the week, I see all kinds of shows and themes, I don’t follow any theater and I don’t limit it to well-known actors. I go more by topic. Comedy fascinates me although I love a good drama. I am surrounded by friends who are dedicated to it (like me at the time, at El Timbal school, for five years). So, the theater has played a leading role in my life since I was very young.
